The most inappropriate moment for someone to stumble into your room is when an embarrassing web site or application is in full screen mode on your computer. Besides the fact that you can't minimize all windows, their icons and labels will remain on the taskbar and you will end up trying to explain that it is not what it looks like. Regardless of your situation, you can use HideAll as a panic button to hide all your windows instantly. It includes other tools as well, which you can use to protect your privacy.

You will have to go through a standard installation process before using the HideAll. There are no advanced settings to make and the entire process will take less than a minute. The application is lightweight, so its impact on your computer's performance will be minimal.

HideAll works in the background and you can right click its system tray icon to reveal its core functions. It is possible to hide or restore all windows with separate options. Alternatively, you may hide your windows by using a hot key. You can also navigate through different sub-menus to hide or restore individual windows. The application does not simply minimize windows. They will disappear, along with their taskbar icons and labels.

Another sub-menu contains options for clearing the clipboard, recently accessed documents, Internet Explorer's cache, history, cookies and much more. The hot key for hiding all windows can be configured in HideAll's general settings menu. Additionally, you can select a different action for this hot key, set up a password, hide the system tray icon and more.

Pros

The application can hide windows, along with their taskbar labels. This action can be executed instantly by using a hot key. HideAll's general settings are quite flexible, so you can make various configurations to its behavior.

Cons

When it comes to erasing your browsing history, HideAll works only with Internet Explorer. Privacy is not an issue while using HideAll. It can hide everything on your desktop at a moment's notice.
